What We Do

A documented need

Over 90% of seniors want to live remain in their homes as they age (White House Conference on Aging, 2005).

1.5 million elderly live in deficient housing conditions (Alliance for Retired Americans, 2006).

1/3 to 1/2 of home accidents can be prevented by modification and repair (Administration on Aging Website).

Youth who volunteer just one hour a week are 50% less likely to abuse drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, or engage in destructive behavior (Search Institute, 1995).
