Labor of Love Campaign

August 20th -September 3rd

Your help makes a difference.

Mrs. Culp is 75 years old and lives in Fort Mill, SC. This spring volunteers replaced part of her roof, glazed her windows, and put railings on her back staircases. When she saw the railings, she threw her arms around the site leader, kissed her, and said: "Now I can get back here where it's cool in the summer!"

What's the Labor of Love Campaign? This summer hundreds of youth and adults will give a week or more to bring hope to homeowners. In the blazing heat, for long summer days, they will replace roofs, build ramps, paint homes, and much, much more. Volunteers will travel across the Southeast and even Peru to be a living example of the Gospel. They won't do this for the reward, but for the joy of serving the elderly. For them, and the volunteers who come back year after year, Home Works is truly a Labor of Love!

Your help is crucial to Home Works' ability to repair homes, and there are two ways to help:

1) First, volunteer!
2) Second, please consider donating and participating in the Labor of Love Campaign.

From August 20th to August 31st, Labor of Love buckets will be placed at participating businesses to collect donations. Labor Day weekend, participating churches will have a special Labor of Love collection to benefit Home Works.

To get your church or business involved in the Labor of Love Campaign, contact Home Works at (803) 781-4536 or g.rockwell@homeworksusa.net.

And don't forget, August 18th there will be a PARTY!

August 18th at the Warehouse will be the first annual Labor of Love Celebration, to celebrate all the hard work done over the summer and to kick off the Labor of Love Campaign. There will be a cookout, games, and a raffle, so meet us at the Warehouse and bring your favorite dessert!
